Main Building Specifications
The building has a height to the underside of the roof trusses of 8 m and 9 m to the underside of the roof. The supporting columns are evenly spaced at 18 metres in one direction and 12 metres in the other providing areas of unobstructed manufacturing/storage floor space.
The concrete floor is reinforced with 15 cm of concrete type 30N20 on 20 cm of quarry rock base and damp proofing.
The building is adequately served with both pedestrian and fork truck access doors on all four sides and is designed around a main central gangway running the length of the Plant.
Electrical Supply – The total capacity of the electrical system Is 3.5 MVA.
